The JSTOR Ireland Collection
The Ireland Collection, developed in cooperation with Queen’s University Belfast, is an interdisciplinary collection of journals and other materials. When completed it will contain a minimum of 75 journals, including
journals with moving walls of between 1 and 5 years and ceased journals from the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. Over 200 monographs and 2,500 manuscript pages will also be included in this resource. The content in this collection covers a wide range of disciplines, including music, art, history, literature, archaeology, sociology, mathematics, and science, among many others. Ceased rare periodicals essential to the study of Ireland’s cultural and political life will be found alongside journals publishing vital contemporary scholarship in their fields.
Funded by the JISC Digitisation Programme (UK), subscription access to the Ireland Collection is available without fees to educational and non-commercial institutions in the Ireland.
