During this week Engineering, Technology, Maths and Science are promoted throughout Ireland with the aid of the variety of activities with events held for for primary and post-primary students. In addition a family day has been organised in Engineers Ireland.  This year each student participant will be in with a chance to win a fantastic trip to NEMO Science Centre in Amsterdam!

The week is coordinated on a national basis by Engineers Ireland as part of the STEPS programme, which was in 2000 to encourage primary and post-primary students to explore the world of science and engineering.
