Ensuring Quality in Using ICT in Learning and Education

imageThe “Getting it Right – Making it Work” eQSF Launch and European Conference takes place next week.  eQSF is the result of collaboration between six European partners in a project funded under the Lifelong Learning Programme of the European Commission. The project has developed an easy-to-use self-assessment tool designed for schools and education providers to review and improve their use of ICT in learning.  The eQSF website to be launched on the day, will provide a straightforward process for identifying your school’s ICT strengths and weaknesses and will help you to ensure quality in the use of ICT and the delivery of learning.

Minister Sean Haughey TD, Minister of State with special responsibility for Lifelong Learning is the keynote speaker. The conference will outline the eQSF quality framework and provide concrete examples of how to implement eQSF in practice and participants will have the opportunity to benefit from a wide range of free resources and background material that will be available on the day.

If you are interested in or have responsibility for ICT delivery in your school or organisation, you should consider attending on 7th December 2010, 12:30 – 3:30 pm at the The Clock Tower, Department of Education and Skills, Marlborough Street.
