Science Week is back! Running from November 10th – 17th, Science Week 2019 will focus on climate action, seeking to help people understand climate change, how science and technology can help us create a positive climate future and the impact we as individuals can have on climate change. While one person may feel unable to make a difference on their own, a collective effort to offset our carbon emissions will have a positive impact.

Science Week Ireland is a week-long event every November, celebrating science in our everyday lives. The Science Week programme includes workshops, science shows, talks, laboratory demonstrations, science walks and other science-related events. It is a collaboration of events involving industry, colleges, schools, libraries, teachers, researchers and students throughout Ireland. In 2019, Science Week will have 13 regional festivals offering a range of opportunities for the everyone to engage with STEM. Each festival involves a programme of events which celebrates science and research in the community. All festivals will be running numerous events so it’s guaranteed there will be something for everyone.
